Lake Notes:  Over 325 miles of shoreline.  Lake Wylie is located on the North Carolina/South Carolina border.  Part of the Catawba River Chain.  Avg. depth of 21 ft.  On Lake Wylie most anglers like bulky baits and highly visible colors. When fishing for Catfish on Lake Wylie use mussels, shrimp, and stinkbaits. Fish are also being caught trolling with minnows using traditional crappie fishing methods. Night fishing is good in shallow water.
